Mayan
Culture Seminar with Mayan Fashion Show
Take a journey back in time and discover the ancient and
mystical Mayan World! Learn how the Mayans came into existence,
surviving and flourishing for approximately 2,000 years
and then mysteriously disappeared. Learn how the Mayans
without horses, carts or even the wheel, built their impressive
temples, pyramids and observations.
After this interesting Mayan Seminar, sit back and enjoy
a fashion show with typical outfits from the different
states of Mexico. This will compliment the amazing journey
through the Mayan lands.
Cooking
Lesson
La Casa de las Margaritas is a celebration of good taste,
great food, and unforgettable moments and is designed
to offer you a rich and varied Mexican experience. The
restaurant dresses up for the celebration every night,
and surrounds its guests with the sights, sounds, aromas,
tastes, and laughter so characteristic of festive Mexico.
Today, you will have the opportunity to participate in
a variety of cooking lessons with the great chef of this
restaurant.
Tulum
A very important archaeological site of the Mayan Culture,
TULUM dates from the Post-Classic period and is the only
Mayan settlement ever discovered to be completely surrounded
by a wall and constructed by the sea. TULUM is located
78 miles south of Cancun. The city of TULUM was built
in honor of the sun. The main structure at the site is
The Castle, a pyramid-like building crowned by a temple
which commands magnificent views of the Caribbean Sea.
Other edifices of interest are the Temple of the Frescoes
and Descending God; the site contains remnants of approximately
60 structures.
Xel-Ha
(can be combined with Tulum for a full day activity)
The ancient Maya named this marvelous place “Xel-Ha” which
means where water is born. Xel-Ha is one of nature’s perfect
creations and a paradise for nature lovers. This extraordinary
place is formed by a combination of inlets, lagoons, cenotes
and caves that are fed by the sea. The underground fresh
water springs and rivers, turn Xel-Ha into the world’s
largest aquarium. Swim or snorkel in the inlet, peacefully
navigate the river, sunbathe or walk on the beach, explore
the cenotes, discover ancient Mayan murals, be surrounded
by fish, birds, butterflies, iguanas, macaws, and more
in the world of fun and adventure.
Xcaret
Billed as “Natures Sacred Paradise”, this eco-archaeological
park lies 72 miles south of Cancún. Paths wind
through the jungle to a series of small Mayan temples
and all that remains of an ancient port; a lagoon, sheltered
beach and rocky inlet. Other highlights include the spectacular
underground river which traverses through a series of
caverns on a thrilling adventure, an aviary, wildlife
corner, aquarium, butterfly farm, botanical garden, snorkeling
and diving tours, horseback riding and dolphin swim. Restaurants
and shops complete the portfolio of attractions at this
perfect day-trip destination.
Garrafon
Located on the Southern tip of Isla Mujeres, Garrafón
is the newest natural park in the region. The park features
Garrafón Reef, with shallow waters and gentle currents
that offer sub-aquatic beauty like no other spot. At South
Point, an imposing rock formation offers breathtaking
views of the Caribbean and the Cancún skyline.
The facilities include a 50,000 sq. ft. building decorated
with Mexican Caribbean motifs, where you will find restaurants,
bathrooms, lockers, showers, stores, visitor assistance
centers, snorkeling and scuba equipment rental, ice cream
parlor, photo shop, and gallery. The surrounding areas
include lookouts, hiking trails, hammock havens, lounge
chairs, fresh water pool, snack bar, peer, and connecting
walkways to South Point.
Caribbean
Fun Day on Isla Mujeres
Perhaps the most popular of the Isla Mujeres tours. When
your guests board the boats, a live band will welcome
them with the happy sound of tropical music and an amusing
MC entertains during the 45 minute cruise. Once at the
private beach club, your guests can choose from a variety
of activities such as, snorkeling, bicycling, visit to
a turtle farm and a boat tour.

Follow a guide on a two-seater Aqua Ray sports or speed
boat to Punta Nizuc Reef, a perfect snorkeling spot with
depths from 20 to 30 feet. On the way you’ll explore the
jungle and see the exotic wildlife and rare birds that
live there.

Get back to the Nature and enjoy the Caribbean Sun and

Approximately 45 minutes from Cancun, Rancho Loma Bonita
is a real typical ranch. Enjoy some time on horseback,
take a ride through 1200 acres of jungle where you will
visit fresh water springs, explore caves, and an archaeological
zone with 11 Mayan tombs. Ride on 5 miles of private beach;
walk, gallop or swim in the ocean with your horses.
